Thug muid go gceantar trábhaile na Trá Fhada Dé hAoine seo caite. Go hionduil, tá mé ag dul ach in aice leis na trá sí féin. Ní bhíonn mé ag sriocheadh go dtí seo ar an cladach ar thuaidh. Tá mé ag obair cúig mhile i bhfad ag imeall thuaisceart cathrach céann.
Ar scor ar bith, bhí mé ag tagtha leis mo theaglach ar chéile. Iarr muid ag teacht ar an long mhór "An Banríon Maire." Tagann sí chun duga ansin. Tá sí chun cé ann. Tá áit bhuanchónaithe uirthi anseo.
Tá geábh a thabhairt ar Trá Fhada. Go moch ar maídin sin, mo bhean a tí agus mo dhá mhac ag feiceáil an uisceadán ag timpeall an long. Tá sé ag trasna an cuan.
Ina dhiadh, cheangail mé siad. Bhí muid geábh a thabhairt ar an bhfarraige! Ar ndóigh, ní raibh muid ábalta ag dul níos fada go Trá Fhada. Thiomaint muid go an cois go gairid.
Chuaigh muid ar bord ar long ag imeacht an turas gearr. Cuireann "Long Sí" ar taispeáint ann. Tá tarraingt an teaghlaigh an tslua turasóra ansin. Ba mhor an spraoí é.
Go déanach, chonaic muid an scannán ag glaoi "Ag Glanadh na Gréine." Thaispeáin sé ina sean-pictiúrlann sa chomharsanacht go stairiúil. Fuair Léna an griangraf go haisteach is taibhse os cionn leis mise féin, Leon agus Niall ag fanacht istigh ar an scannán ag tosú.
Tar éis sin, chruinnigh muid ar an bialann. D'ith mé bia bui! Thosaigh leis anraith tiubh oinníun Fhrancach leis cais blasta. Líon mé féin leis pióg sicín i bpota is gaire. Chríochnaigh mé leis caca leis anann agus cnó cócó. Ni raibh pióg leis cnó cócó agus uachtar acu, ar chor ar bith!
Journey to Long Beach.
We went to the seaside resort section of Long Beach last Friday. Usually, I go only near the beach itself. (Customarily) I don't reach this site on the seashore to the south. I work five miles away at the northern border of the same city.
However, I went with my family together. We wanted to come to the great ship "The Queen Mary." It's come to dock there. There she is at the quay. Here's a permanent place for her.
It was "a quick spell of activity" at Long Beach. Earlier that morning, my wife and my two sons saw the aquarium in the vicinity of the ship. It's across the harbor.
After, I joined them. We went on "a short sea trip"! Of course, we were not able to go very far from Long Beach. We drove to the coast quickly.
We went on board the ship to go off on a short tour. A "Ghost Ship" exhibition is put on there. The family attraction draws a tourist crowd to there. It was great fun.
Later, we saw the film called "Sunshine Cleaning." It showed at an old cinema in an historic neighborhood. Layne got this strangely spectral snapshot above with myself, Leo, and Niall waiting inside for the film to start.
After that, we gathered at a restaurant. I ate a yellow meal! I began with thick French onion soup with tasty cheese. I filled myself with chicken pot pie next. I finished with coconut- pineapple cake. They did not have any more coconut- cream pie!
