Suím amuigh le déanaí. Tá aimsir go fásaigh níos te anois. Tá blathannaí go leor ag imeall sa bhaile.
Léim leabhar dathúil ach stuama uaireanta fós. Ni raibh mé faoi Sen go fírinne go dtí anois. Mar sin, chuir mé bunleabhar ag an leabharlann áitúil.
Is "Aimsígh Sen" é le David Fontana. Tá íomhánnaí go fineálta leis gach clár le Nelly Dimitranova. Is maith liom an teaghlaim acusan. Is teacs go díreach, ceactannaí go cabhrach, agus dealbha go gannchúiseach istigh.
Tosaíonn sé leis cleachtaí a dúiseacht aithne. Caithim a suí go socair. Breathnaím le nádúr níos mo. Smaoiním fúmsa féin níos cruinne. Éistim ag cá bím.
Ceangláionn Sen smacht leis saoirse. Ach, ní cumhacht chuig cúnnaí cosanta agamsa. Tá siad ag tafann ag timpeall fúm. Ní dhéanann madraí machnamh. Ní bhíonn nádúr go bhfuil go ciúin i gcónaí. B'fhéidir, bíonn an cleachtadh sin eile go síoraí na Sen.
To sit quietly.
I am sitting outside lately. The weather's growing warmer now. There's plenty of flowers around the house.
I am reading a colorful but serious-minded book sometimes also. I never read about Zen truly until now. Therefore, I found a primer at the local library.
It's "Discover Zen" by David Fontana. There's delicate illustrations on every page by Nelly Dimitranova. I like the combination of them. There's a simple text, helpful lessons, and spare images inside.
It begins with lessons to gather awareness. I look at nature more. I examine (about) myself more closely. I listen to where I am.
Zen joins control with freedom. But, there's no power over watch-dogs by me. They're barking all around me. Dogs do not meditate. Nature cannot always be hushed. Perhaps, that's another ever-present lesson of Zen.
Ghriangraf/Photo: "Stad Tafann/ Stop Dog Barking". Is cosuil seo madra é Taffy; tá sé cú corr againn, nó "corgi" as Breatnaise go leor! Ach, níl cluasa air! This dog resembles Taffy, our "bent hound" or "Corgi" in Welsh, a lot! But, not his ears!
