Turas Bóthair Mór

Ar ais muid abhaile. Chuaigh Léna agus mé go Meicsiceo Nua go dti Michigan ansiud. D'fhillear go muid go Michigan go Meicsiceo Nua ais aríst.

Thiomaint Léna 5200 míle ar fud Mheiriceá. Nascleanúineagh mé. Bhain sult asainn é.

Chonaic muid na Sléibhte Creagachaí. Thrasnaigh muid aibneachaí móraí. Chuir cuairt muid ár chairde ina hIarthar Láir.

D'ól muid beoir agus léann go blasta fós. D'fhán muid ina hóistain is mó agus "móistain" eigin níos an-ghránna. Mar sin féin, bhí ag thaistil ar na bóthar mór agus ar an lánaí beag, i te agus fuar, báisteach agus grian.

B'fhéidir, gheobhaidh ar ais go Kentucky agus Tennessee an lá eile. Is dócha go mbeidh muid ag dul An Deisceart seo chugainn. Ba mhaith linn a fheicéail an críoch ann a thuilleadh.

A big road trip.

We returned home. Layne and I went from New Mexico to Michigan beyond. We returned from Michigan to New Mexico again.

Layne drove 5200 miles across America. I navigated. We enjoyed ourselves.

We saw the Rocky Mountains. We crossed great rivers. We visited our friends in the Midwest.

We drank tasty beer and ale too. We stayed in a grand hotel and some "motels" very ugly. All the same, we travelled on the highways and the small lanes, in warm and cold, rain and sun.

Perhaps, we will go back to Kentucky and Tennessee another day. It's probable that we will go to the South next. We will see the terrain some more. (Photo/Ghriangraf le Léna i Dakota Thuas, Páirc Stád Custer/ State Park)
